Seeing the World Through a Lens
This is my little space on the net to share the results of my lifelong love of photography. It has taken me years to fully understand all of the complexities of capturing and processing ”keeper” images, and I’m still learning. Every new landscape, city, street, building, person, animal, bird or unique scene calls out to me to capture it. With every new camera, lens, or other gadget I am like a kid at Christmas…can’t wait to try it out and see what it can do. My love of travel only feeds this passion more and I love to chat with other photographers who share this obsession.
About Me
Now happily retired, I have more time to pursue photography. I am interested in most types of photography, except for sports. I am not a professional, although I do enjoy creating portraits and have done photoshoots with family members for senior pictures and family events. I love to travel and capture images of places we have visited. I also like to experiment with macro, astro and still life photography. My latest obsession is shooting birds either at my home bird feeder, a local park or at City Dock. I have several cameras, but my newest and favorite is a Canon R6.
